Why We Give Back

I support charities and causes for the same reasons that GetSpaInfo was created – to help support, inspire, teach, and love. Being part of a community is essential to me, even if I’m not physically there.

From the deepest part of my heart, I believe that helping others is simply the right thing to do.

Sharing this, I hope to inspire others to find places that need help, resonate with them, and show that giving love and hope to others comes in many forms.
No smile, kind gesture, or dollar amount is ever too small to make a big difference.

These are some of the organizations that I believe in and support.

  • Saving Sophie

Saving Sophie is a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on providing unlimited online educational resources to families who have been stricken by cancer, autism, or epilepsy. With a mission to raise funds for groundbreaking cancer research, it is our goal to support scientists who are working towards bringing less toxic therapies to market.

  • Delivering with Dignity

Delivering with Dignity was launched on March 23, 2020, as an emergency response to the healthcare and economic crisis created by the novel coronavirus and has grown exponentially in its effort to help the most vulnerable and isolated individuals in Southern Nevada. Through partnerships with locally-owned restaurants, leading nonprofit agencies, and private corporations, the program delivers meals directly to the doorsteps of residents, keeps dozens of restaurant staff employed, and expands to support community facilities, including domestic abuse and homeless shelters.

  • World Central Kitchen

World Central Kitchen is working across America to safely distribute individually packaged, fresh meals in communities that need support – for children and families to pick up and take home, as well as delivery to seniors who cannot venture outside. To date, WCK has provided over 30 million meals in more than 400 cities.

Traditional safety nets like school feeding programs, city services, and food banks are struggling to meet basic needs. WCK is partnering with restaurants to help meet this demand by providing jobs for their staff and meals for those in need. #ChefsForAmerica is making a key connection between people who need meals and restaurant workers and drivers who need to earn a living.

  • Giving Grace

Giving Grace provides necessary items and filled lunch bags for the local homeless community in Charlotte, NC. They also support the Little Free Pantry each week with non-perishable items. The funds are used for purchasing items such as bags, bottled water, snacks, socks, gloves, sanitary & hygiene items, and more. Giving Grace was named after a sweet girl whose mother believes in the importance of kindness, compassion, generosity, and helping others. Hand in hand, they support their community.
